There is no lack for stories in the news of an outcry for social justice. Whether it is in the form of kneeling, wearing a neon vest or general protest, people are coming together to demand better distribution of wealth, representation or recognition.
Despite the seemingly recent hype, this demand is not new. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in his famous ‘I have a dream’, speech, stated “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal”.
1 Sam 16:7 tells us, God does not see as humans see. Humans look at outward appearances, but God looks into the heart. The other beautiful truth is – God is able to give us a heart of flesh that He desires to see. How about that? God is able to provide for each of us what He desires in us. That is a win – win situation.
