The resurrection of Jesus has totally blown away the minds of the disciples. The Easter season is a time for us to reexamine our faith in His physical resurrection. Has this event blown away your mind like the disciples’?
Our faith, hope and joy should all be anchored on this pivotal concept about Christ. Soon and very soon, we are going to be resurrected like Jesus, and maybe even transformed alive. With great anticipation, John wrote in the book of Revelation that, “the time is near” (Rev. 22:10).
Declination of Christianity, moral degradation, economic disasters, dictatorial world leadership, natural calamities, these signs of the time all point to the fact that Jesus is indeed coming soon.
Now is the time for genuine joy. The closer we get to Jesus, the more joyful we are. I hope you have a really joyful life here on earth that looks forward to perfecting joy in heaven forever with Jesus. We should always remember that it is only by God’s grace and love that we have the ability and desire to serve others. When we imitate Christ’s humility, we are not seeking recognition or a pat on the back, but we do for God’s glory.
