Words of Hope – “In like a lion, out like a lamb.”

Words of Hope – “In like a lion, out like a lamb.”

By Pastor Rhoda Klain Miller

In English weather folklore, this proverb refers to March. During the transition of the seasons, this saying brought comfort and hope that if the month began dark and stormy, it should end calm and pleasant.

We’re beginning a new teaching series called The Lion & the Lamb reviewing the prophetic symbols of Jesus as our Saviour and King. Jesus embodies the paradox of both gentle and powerful love. Sacrificial humility and mighty authority all in one.

Genesis begins with dark clouds overshadowing the future of humanity but this is followed by immediate hope and comfort offered in One who will rescue and restore. Join us every Saturday this month as we reflect on the hope and promise of Jesus who covers our sins and calms the storms.
