At the end of June, Pastor Rhoda brought up an idea that we would go climb Grouse Grind and have our staff meeting at the top of the mountain. The view at the top was gorgeous, but the process of climbing up was tough. Similar to our lives, we may have some challenges and struggles, like climbing up the mountain. When I was climbing, I plugged my ears with worship songs and it gave me motivation. The lyrics gave me encouragement and reminded me that no matter in what circumstances, that I had God with me who strengthens me.
What gives you the strength to overcome the struggles in your life? In Matthew 17:20 Jesus said “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Put your faith in Him, overcome whatever desperation you have today with God, For our reward is waiting ahead of us.
