Change, again, is on the horizon

It’s  the  last  day  of  2016.  Is  your  sentiment  a  “good  riddance”  kind  of  feeling?  Or  has 2016 been a memorable year of growth and experiences? Whatever the case, I am sure we can all agree that it’s been an intense year. 364 (or 365 counting today) moments in time  that  have  been  loaded  with  meaning  and  significance  for  people  everywhere.  I don’t even want to begin to recount all the international, national, and local news items that  have  made  indelible  marks  on  the  future  of  our  “life  together”  on  this  planet.  Too many of the memorable ones seem sinister and dark.And so while the darkness of midnight tonight holds nothing more than a change in the designation of the year on our calendars; in a sense, these collective moments of anticipation often fill us with hope. Light is coming. Sunrise is coming. A new day will dawn. Change, again, is on the horizon. Our  little  collection  of  sojourners  that  we  call  OAC,  have  also  had  some  really  memorable  moments. Defining moments. Let’s remember these as we move into creating a new, amazing, and memorable year for all the right reasons
